Tenterfield Food and Wine Festival

The 2009 Tenterfield Food and Wine Festival is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet.

Activities commence on Friday evening with your choice of either participating in one of the events running in conjunction with the festival or doing your own thing at any of the fine eateries around town.

Saturday is your opportunity to be tantalized by the tastes of Tenterfield. With 9 wineries and 8 restaurants all serving up the products of their labour, there is never a better opportunity to immerse yourself in the vast array of flavours that come from the birthplace of our nation.

On Saturday night there are several functions you can head along to, or use the day to find your favourite restaurant and enjoy what their full menu has on offer by night.

Why not have breakfast on Sunday while watching the "Wearable Art" fashion parade and then head off to the show and shine car show, a matinee session of the play or visit your favourite vineyard before the trip home.
